Rebecca Teresia is a Finnish-born Producer, Director, and the Founder of SISU Media, a production company specializing in international storytelling and large-scale productions that bridge global audiences. As a partner at 24 Collins Studio—a premier new film studio and production facility in the Bay Area—Rebecca is a key architect in scaling independent filmmaking with studio-level infrastructure.
With over a decade of industry experience, Rebecca’s leadership includes serving as Creative Director for KITV Island News, where she spearheaded brand strategy, live show production, commercial and documentary production for the major Hawaiian broadcast station. Her professional background is anchored by work within studio environments, including Warner Bros., NBC Universal, and Hallmark.
Her producing credits include an award-winning Korean-American feature Junho, a cultural documentary Shaka: Story of Aloha, a Cuban American film Wake, a television series Fashion Sense, along with upcoming release of The 100th: Seeds of Aloha. Beyond her producing pursuits, Rebecca is the visionary founder of Filmmaker Pau Hana - Afterwork, a global networking community and event series that connects film professionals across international hubs.
Rebecca’s work is defined by a unique combination of creative vision and strategic execution, shaped by her background in business and international markets. Having competed on the Finnish national team in rhythmic gymnastics, she brings a strong sense of discipline, precision, and timing into her approach to storytelling and production.
Through SISU Media, she develops film, branded content, and creative projects that connect narrative storytelling with cultural and commercial impact. She is particularly drawn to projects that exist at the intersection of independent filmmaking and global distribution.
Currently, Rebecca is developing a diverse slate of projects alongside 24 Collins Studio. By leveraging the studio’s state-of-the-art facilities and her global network, she is spearheading multiple international co-productions between Finland and the U.S., including the action-comedy Finns in Hawaii, the documentary SISU & Aloha, and the series 11:11 Mindfulness Project.
SISU Media is a Hawaii-based creative partner of 24 Collins Studio, a multi-hectare production property in Vacaville, California known for its versatile filming locations.
